Tricky.
It's a bit of a loose collection of older members of the University of Portsmouth Sub-Aqua Club. It has no formal membership - that is done by UPSAC. The focus in GrownUpSAC is upon diving, rather than training. That doesn't mean that the folk in GrownUpSAC don't do training, but it does mean that the training itself is run by the student's club. Is it a closed group? Certainly not. Is it a clique? Probably! All you need to do to join is go diving with us, though. The idea is that GrownUpSAC should complement UPSAC rather than compete against it. That's the fairly naïve hope, anyway.
